DLC Content (Release 05/12/08)

If you download most of the DLC that offer dungeons on your first run on Normal difficulty, you will obtain a few extra dungeons that are normally only playable on Hard or Very Hard difficulty. This is done because dungeons are only connected from a single source and they many were only connected to high difficulty dungeons. So in a way you're getting more than just the DLC dungeons, even if temporarily.

Dungeon Pack (300 Points)
Contains 11 dungeons that will raise your housing cap by 10 and give you more of the following buildings upon completion of the various dungeons included:
- Tavern
- Gaming Hall
- Fountain Park
- Weapon Shop
- Bulletin Park
- Armor Shop
- Item Shop

Most of which are very useful and will contribute new things to your city that adventurers will use.

Triple Race Pack (800 Points)
This is a combination of the three individual race packs at a slightly cheaper amount if combined. The pack will offer you races that you may find at an inn, except they will be able to recruit into your cities adventurer force.

Each race will have a specific class they will be when you recruit them. Those would be:
- Selkie: Thieves
- Lilty: Warriors
- Yuke: Males are Black Mages / Females are White Mages

Other than that, their housing is akin to that of a Large House which pulls in more tithe compared to any other building. It's useful downloadable content, but it still feels a tad on the pricey side.

Luxurious House (100 Points)
Probably your most worthless DLC next to that of outfits. It adds one of the highest, if not the highest level dungeon to your map. However, the building pales in comparison to that of a Large House or any of the racial houses above. So it's only real use is to provide a challenging dungeon and two more or less normal dungeons.

Sacred Shrine (200 Points)
A decently useful park, but probably for reasons that aren't explained before you buy the content. Basically you're able to get up to three shrines which will do the following in the order you place them:

1) Shrine of Power - When you pray at it, it will give adventurers on the field (in dungeons) a boost in Strength and Toughness.
2) Shrine of Knowledge - When you pray at it, it will give adventurers on the field (in dungeons) a boost in Intelligence and Willpower.
3) Shrine of Life - When you pray at it, it will give adventurers on the field (in dungeons) a 30% HP heal.

On top of that, adventurers will sometimes pray at these in the beginning of the day. This makes them feel stronger (Whatever that exactly does) and they go about their business.

Now what makes these really useful is the addition of two new research spells. Those are Lightning Spells (Black Mage) and Protection Spells (White Mage) for just placing at least one of these shrines in your town.

New Royal Outfit / New Chancellor Outfit (100 Points Each)
Gives you the ability to change the wardrobe of the little King or Chime. They look like the following:

The game is utterly charming, far better than it deserves to be, and is awesome for going all the way and including a complete, detailed combat system, even if you only get to experience it vicariously. Also, we sprung for the add-on stuff, and now I have a Selkie thief wandering around my town, and that makes me unreasonably happy.
